We're a couple of lovely ladies and a lovely dude trying to do that farming/homesteading thing in Skagit County, WA.
Our Home
We live in eastern Skagit County, Washington State, in-between Rockport and Marblemount. We aren’t too far from the Skagit River, and Corkindale Creek is within walking distance. From our property we have a beautiful view of Eldorado Peak and other nearby glaciers – a perfect backdrop for sipping coffee and watching ravens, hawks, and eagles in addition to our livestock on clear days.
Our Philosophy and Goals
Our goal for Glacier View Farm is four-fold;
- raise livestock and grow a garden to have access to food that we nourished every step of the way to increase our own sustainability and health
- create an extra source of income
- increase our knowledge and skills in a variety of vital areas
- spend time outside touching grass and bonding with animals and nature!
While some of the animals on our farm may eventually end up on our table, during their lives each one will be loved and cared for and treated with respect.
Other Things We Do
We like to get crafty here at Glacier View Farm!
We currently design stickers and t-shirts via RedBubble, and want to expand into designing posters, and Farm Planners, selling stock and fine art photography, as well as small crafts like knitted hats, concrete trinkets, jewelry, and more.
